QuitCraft

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026

Short version

QuitCraft has no account, advertising, analytics, tracking, or cloud sync. Recovery information, reflections, journal entries, preferences, and game progress remain on device. The optional Safari content blocker does not give QuitCraft access to browsing history.

Information in the app

QuitCraft stores the journey start date, daily recovery events, optional reflections, journal entries, settings, and world progress locally on your iPhone. The developer does not receive this information.

Safari content blocker

If you enable the QuitCraft extension in Safari, Safari evaluates a curated set of declarative blocking rules bundled with the app. The extension helps block known adult websites in Safari only. It does not block other browsers or apps, and no ruleset can guarantee coverage of every website.

QuitCraft does not receive the addresses you visit, the requests Safari blocks, or your browsing history. The blocker does not download rules from a QuitCraft server.

Network and third parties

The released app does not send personal information to QuitCraft servers and contains no advertising or analytics SDK. Visiting this policy or the support site is separate from using the offline app and may produce ordinary web-server logs for the hosting provider.

Privacy lock and reminders

If enabled, the privacy lock asks iOS to authenticate you. QuitCraft does not receive or store biometric templates. If enabled, reminders are scheduled as local notifications on device and use neutral wording.

Retention and deletion

Data remains on device until you remove it using app controls or delete the app, subject to any device backups you control. QuitCraft does not operate an account database from which data must be requested.

Adults and wellness scope

QuitCraft is intended for adults. It is a self-improvement tool, not medical care, diagnosis, treatment, crisis support, or a substitute for a qualified professional.

Changes and contact

If the app adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, remote blocker updates, browsing logs, or another data practice, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure must be updated before release. Privacy questions can be sent to support@quitcraft.com.
